On Thursday, Gold was above $1,120 per ounce, a record high for the second straight day. It was a new record for gold however, the dollar remained weak.
The news article is quoted as saying:
Improvements in the economic outlook also lent support to the precious metal. Gold is often seen as a hedge against energy price-led inflation.
